Customs Duties in Gabon
Exporters and importers working with Gabon must comply with the conformity assessment program (PROGEC) implemented by the Gabonese government office, Agence Gabonaise de Normalisation (AGANOR).

Gabon generally adheres to CEMAC customs regulations. In addition to standard duties and taxes, some products may be subject to surcharges.

Since the February 28, 2013 decree, certain items require a conformity assessment, including : Construction materials, electrical and electronic devices and Cosmetics, medical and surgical devices, and toys.
Each shipment of these goods is inspected, and a Certificate of Conformity is issued to validate customs clearance. The certificate ensures compliance with technical regulations and national, regional, and international standards.
